Goldmans Sachs' Asia-Pacific CEO, Chairman To Retire - Reports

The Asia-Pacific regional chief executive and chairman of , Ken Hitchner, is retiring form the firm, media reports quoted unnamed sources as saying. 

Reuters and Bloomberg reported that Hitchner, who will continue in his Hong Kong-based role until the middle of this year, is to retire from the US firm.

The reports said that Goldman Sachs declined to comment.

A former pilot in the US Navy, Hitchner was appointed as the bank’s president for Asia-Pacific, excluding Japan, in 2013 and was named the region’s chairman and chief executive officer in 2017. He joined Goldman in 1991.
